| I remember the first time I came to
Oyotunji African Village. It was 1970 and I was a little girl from New York.
I remember thinking "this is Africa". It has remained that for me to this day.
It requires you be authentic in your African soul. It's a bridge home.

Village are eternally grateful for the numerous
messages, tributes, donations and mass turnout
during the beginning of the Royal Isinku Rites
in honor of the Oba of Oyotunji. We were also
humbly honored as well as grateful when our earthly
supreme father The Ooni of Ife, Kabiyesi, blessed
us by sending us personal representatives to be
with us and assist us in carrying out our duty
and task. |
